On Sunday, June 8, 2025 I, Officer Keighla McAloney was assigned marked unit East-2. At approximately, 6:21 PM, I was dispatched to 490 Foley St., Civility Social House for a customer inside swearing and yelling at the staff. Officer Campers, (East-3), and Officer Morel, (East-4) responded as back up.

On scene, Mr. XXXX identified himself as the general manager of the restaurant. He then pointed at a male, later identified as Mr. Thomas PATRICK walking out of Civility Social House stating he had just screamed at the individuals inside and threw a drink in the direction of the bartender.

PATRICK had a red face, an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person, and was unsteady on his feet. PATRICK admitted to officers he was "drunk" however stated he did nothing wrong. PATRICK at times would yell at XXXX calling him a "coward" as well as stating "fuck you". He also tried to close the distance between the two. At this point, Myself and Officer Campers placed PATRICK in handcuffs for officer safety. Officers attempted to ask PATRICK what happened prior to the arrival of the Somerville Police Department. He could not focus on his story and continued to get distracted. PATRICK yelled the entire interaction, which caused passerby to stop and watch. He was advised he needed to stop yelling however, did not.

Officer Campers verbally advised PATRICK, that he was trespassed from Civility Social House. He declined medical attention and stated he did not have a sober party that would be able to pick him up. PATRICK was then placed in Protective Custody, unit 200 was requested operated by Officer Desrochers.

In attempt to place PATRICK in the back of unit 200, he continued to yell at people who walked by to the point they stopped and watched as well as record.

I then went inside to speak with the bartender, identified as Ms. XXXX. XXXX went on to say PATRICK was a customer at the bar when he began to yell. XXXX attempted to stop PATRICKS behavior which resulted in him to yell in her face, while pointing his finger in the area of her face. She stated he then stood up and threw his glass drink at her. She stated he believed his intent was to hit her however, she had got out of the way. The glass did not make contact with her. XXXX added "I was scared he was going to hurt me."

XXXX added, he believed PATRICK was trying to hit XXXX with the glass.

Two females identified as Ms. XXXX and Ms. XXXX stated PATRICK yelled at them as well. Both stated he yelled in their face "fuck you" which made XXXX scared.

I then spoke with Mr. XXXX who was seated on the opposite side of the bar. He stated when PATRICK yelled at XXXX and XXXX, XXXX then yelled across the bar that it was time for PATRICK to leave. At this point, PATRICK then went up to XXXX and called him a "coward" and continued to yell in his face. PATRICK then exited the restaurant when officers arrived.

I contacted Somerville Police Dispatch and updated them that PATRICK is now going to be charged with the following:

c265 S15B, ASSAULT W/DANGEROUS WEAPON

c272 S53, DISORDERLY CONDUCT

PATRICK screamed throughout the booking process as well as ripped his shirt.
