Crime Log June 16, to June 22, 2026

Assault

26041102: On 6/21/26 at approximately 4:01 PM, Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated his son was playing soccer by the park and an older female began yelling at him. His daughter then approached the female and her to stop yelling and the suspect pushed her. Officers identified the suspect.

Residential Breaking & Entering

26041383: On 6/22/26 at approximately 4:59 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Myrtle St a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated a weed whacker and a pressure washer were stolen from his garage.

26041378: On 6/22/26 at approximately 4:39 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Myrtle St a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated a bicycle was stolen from his garage.

26040750: On 6/20/26 at approximately 12:38 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Arnold Ct for a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who stated they came home that evening and noticed a window was open and their rooms were rummaged through. A pair of headphones and cash were reported stolen.

26040905: On 6/20/26 at approximately 4:56 PM, Somerville Police responded to Davis Sq for an assault. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party laying on the ground unconscious and suffering from a head wound. A witness stated that a male party punched the victim causing him to fall to the ground and strike his head.

26040972: On 6/20/26 at approximately 12:32 AM, Somerville Police responded to Davis Sq for an assault. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party bleeding heavily from his head. He stated that a male party struck him in the head with a baseball bat.
