Crime Log September 15, to September 21, 2026

Assault

26066167: On 9/16/26 at approximately 3:17 PM, Somerville Police responded to Perkins St for a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was walking his dog and was approached by two males on a moped who began to chase him. One of the males then punched him.

Arrest

26065860: On 9/15/26 at approximately 12:14 PM, Somerville Police responded to Davis Sq for an injured person. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party suffering from an injury to his head. He stated he got into a dispute with another male and the male suspect hit him in the head with a steel broom. Officers located the suspect and he was placed under arrest.

Robbery

26067544: On 9/21/26 at approximately 1:55 PM, Somerville Police responded to Franklin St for a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she was approached by a vehicle occupied by a male and two female passengers. The females then called the victim over and began to place gold chains on her neck while simultaneously removing four gold chains she was already wearing. The victim attempted to pull away and a struggle ensued in which one of the female suspects punched the victim. The vehicle then fled the area.

Robbery

26067558: On 9/21 at approximately 2:30 PM, Somerville Police responded to Washington St for a robbery. The victim stated she was walking and a female in a dark blue sedan asked her to come over and she attempted to kiss her. Another female in the car then took her necklace off her neck.
