Assault

26052511: On 7/30/26 at approximately 6:29 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for a shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the loss prevention officer who stated he observed a male party shoplifting and when he confronted him, the suspect brandished a knife at him.

Assault

26053573: On 8/3/26 at approximately 10:38 AM, Somerville Police responded to a business in Assembly Row for report of a male with a gun. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an employee who stated he was helping a male party pay at the register. When he handed the male his change the suspect dropped it on the counter and almost hit the employee before leaving the store. While leaving, the suspect turned around and lifted his jacket showing what the employee believed was a firearm.

26053719: On 8/3/26 at approximately 8:21 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Alewife Brook Pkwy for an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was checking out at the register and a male party began shouting at him then elbowed him.
