Narrative: 

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, I, Officer Carreiro, was working my scheduled 12am-8am shift in marked Somerville Police Cruiser West-7.

At approximately 12:32 am, Officer A. Pasqualino (West-6) and I was dispatched to Mikes for a report of an assault. (#26040972)

While attending to that call, I noticed two parties getting loud in Statue park. As I observed the two parties getting loud with their altercation, I witnessed a person later identified as Madison KENNEDY, strike another person later identified as XXXX in the face. KENNEDY said that he struck XXXX because she was getting physical by spitting on him on the train and following him around when he asked her to stop. KENNEDY stated that he and XXXX are friends and not in a dating relashionship.

KENNEDY mentioned that he tried multiple times to get away from XXXX but could not because XXXX followed him out of the train station and was antagonizing him. KENNEDY said that the plans they had fell through due to XXXX being heavily intoxicated causing the verbal altercation which turned physical. I requested Fire and EMS to the scene. XXXX was evaluated and refused medical attention. I then placed KENNEDY under arrest for A&B c.265 S13A, and requested unit 200. KENNEDY was transported to the Somerville Police Headquarters by Officer J. Martins and was booked by Lieutenant S. Messaoudi.
