On September 6, 2025, at approximately 5:28PM, I, Officer Thomas Lambert was assigned to East-1 during the 4PM-12AM shift. I was dispatched to 335 Assembly Row (LULULEMON) for a shoplifter. Bravo-1 Detective Jon Thermidor and Bravo-2 Detective Joseph Moreira responded as well. Detective Moreira stated LULULEMON had a potential shoplifter inside the store.

Upon my arrival a female, later identified as Ms. Saran Diarra who was attempting to leave the store. Ms. Diarra's sweatshirt had numerous bulges protruding from it while leaving the fitting room. Through my training and experience I believed Ms. Diarra to be concealing stolen merchandise inside of her sweatshirt to avoid being caught. While speaking with Ms. Diarra she stated she had stolen merchandise that was inside of her sweatshirt as well as her purse that ultimately totaled $748.

I would like to note Ms. Diarra stated her boyfriend was waiting inside of a Nissan Rogue outside of the store and makes her steal stuff while he waits in the car for her. I would also like to note Ms. Diarra stole on 09/03/25 (Incident #25054488) while her boyfriend operated the same vehicle and they were able to leave the area prior to Officers arrival.

Ms. Diarra was placed under arrest and transported back to Somerville Police Headquarters by Unit 200, Officer Justin Buswell and booked in the usual manner by the shift commander, Lieutenant Michael Holland.

Ms. Diarra will be charged with the following:
