On the evening of May 23, 2025, while in full uniform, I was assigned to marked unit East 1. At 9:44 p.m., I responded to Tufts St. and Washington St. for a check condition. The reporting party stated that a vehicle had just drove onto a sidewalk. Ofc. McAloney (east 4) Ofc. N. Moreira (east 2) responded as backup.

While responding, Dispatch relayed that the vehicle, a gray Dodge Caravan, was now on Cross St. I located the vehicle Ma reg(XXXX) at the intersection of Cross St. and Pearl St. with no headlights on; I then initiated a traffic stop. It should be noted that Cross St. and Pearl St. are considered public ways in Massachusetts. I approached the vehicle, and Mr. Teodoro GONZALEZ was in the driver's seat. At that point, I ordered Mr. GONZALEZ out of the vehicle. I asked Mr. GONZALEZ if he had a license, but we could not locate it. I ran Mr. GONZALEZ's name and date of birth through CJIS and discovered that Mr. GONAZLEZ had a suspended license. At this point, I informed Mr. GANZALEZ that he was under arrest for driving with a suspended license, ticket number T1824127. During the traffic stop, Mr. GONZALEZ informed me that he had a flat tire, and due to his vehicle being disabled in the middle of the road, I requested a tow. Stephens Towing responded and towed the vehicle back to their lot.

Due to the presented facts, I will be charging Mr. Teodoro GANZALEZ with LICENSE SUSPENDED, OP MV WITH c90 S23. Mr. Teodoro GANZALEZ was transported to the Somerville police department in marked unit 200 by Ofc. Hartsgrove and booked by Lt. Anderson.
