On November 6, 2025 I, Officer Keighla McAloney was assigned to marked unit East-4. At approximately 5:55 PM, I was dispatched to 103 Governor Winthrop Rd. for a report of a past assault.

On scene, I spoke with the victim later identified as Mr. XXXX. XXXX appeared nervous as his hands were shaking. He looked as if he was in distress.

I asked XXXX to explain the assault that happened prior to calling the Somerville Police Department. He went onto say he was riding his scooter in the bike lane on Temple St. when a vehicle almost struck him, causing XXXX to beep his horn. XXXX had a photo of the vehicle which showed Massachusetts Registration XXXX, a gray, 2015 Cadi SRX.

He stated the operator reacted by beeping his horn and flipping XXXX off. XXXX then took a photo of the vehicle to which the operator, later identified as Mr. Wayne BOLDUC grabbed a hammer and held it out the window. I'd note XXXX described the hammer as black with green accents. XXXX stated BOLDUC began to shake the hammer at him stating, "you better run you fucking pussy, I'll bash your skull in." XXXX then retreated on Temple St. towards Mystic Ave. and noticed BOLDUC wave the hammer once more then, hit his gas pedal and pulled up on the curb.

XXXX stated the entire ride home from the incident he had to keep looking back. He stated, "I was shocked, it really scared the shit out of me." He added he called the Somerville Police once he got to a safe location.

XXXX described the male as a 6' 2", 195 pound white male, with a long gray beard.

A CJIS query of the license plate given resulted in Mr. Wayne BOLDUC of 45 Temple St. #2. His Registry of Motor Vehicles photo was shown to XXXX to which he stated, he believes that to be the operator however, he now has a long gray beard. Myself, Officer Cleary, (East-1) and Sergeant Costa, (Sierra-8) responded to the address in attempt to contact the operator.

On scene, I was met by BOLDUC. I asked him if he had been involved in an incident in the area. BOLDUC first stated "no" and then added he swore at someone in the bike lane however, that was it. At this time, BOLDUC was placed under arrest for the charge of ASSAULT W/DANGEROUS WEAPON, c265 S15B.

BOLDUC was read his Miranda Rights by Sergeant Costa to which he stated he understood. Sergeant Costa then asked him if he had waved a hammer at XXXX to which he stated, "no." There were no further questions.

BOLDUC was transported to Somerville Police Department in unit 200, operated by Officer D. Dottin. He was booked in the usual manner by Lt. Anderson.
