Crime Log April 7, to April 13 2026

Commercial Breaking & Entering

26021238: On 4/9/26 at approximately 2:40 AM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Holland St for an alarm call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the owner who stated a male party forced open the door and stole money from the cash register.  

 

 

Residential Breaking & Entering

26021109: On 4/8/26 at approximately 2:36 PM, Somerville Police took a report regarding a past breaking and entering. The victim stated he left for work and someone entered his bedroom and stole prescription medication. 

 

Residential Breaking & Entering

26020918: On 4/7/26 at approximately 5:44 PM, Somerville Police took a report regarding a past breaking and entering. The property owner stated a group of individuals made entry into the laundry room and were smoking.

 

Assault

26020937: On 4/7/26 at approximately 7:09 PM, Somerville Police took a report regarding a past assault. The reporting party stated her daughter was attacked by a group of juvenile females at Walnut Park.

 

Residential Breaking & Entering

26021945: On 4/11/26 at approximately 11:42 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Evergreen Ave a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who stated they heard a sound in their apartment and observed the front door open. They then noticed a laptop and bicycle were missing. The laptop was recovered shortly after on Marshall St.

 

Arrest

26021920: On 4/11/26 at approximately 8:10 PM, Somerville Police responded to Broadway for a report of threats. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she was walking down Broadway toward Foss Park and was approached by a group of males. One of the males then brandished a knife at her and threatened to kill her. Officers searched the area and located the group of juvenile males nearby. Officers confiscated a knife on one of the juveniles and he was placed under arrest.
