Crime Log March 10 to March 16, 2026

Assault

26014583: On 3/11/26 at approximately 7:48 PM, Somerville Police responded to a business on Broadway for a fight. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated two males were shoplifting items and a fight ensued. During the fight, the male suspects began punching the victim.

 

 

Arrest

26015675: On 3/15/26 at approximately 12:33 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Jaques St for a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated the house is under construction and his tools were missing from inside. He then pointed to a male party who he believed was in possession of the tools. Officers stopped the male and he stated the tools were in a nearby park. Officers then proceeded to the park and recovered the tools and the male suspect was placed under arrest.
