Crime Log August 4, to August 10, 2026

Assault 
26054278: On 8/5/26 at approximately 8:46 PM, Somerville Police responded to Assembly Row for a fight. Upon arrival, officers observed a male party suffering an injury to his eyes. A female party he was with stated that he got into an altercation with a group of juveniles and one of them pepper sprayed him. Officers identified the juvenile suspects.  
 

Robbery 
26054244: On 8/5/26 at approximately 6:08 PM, Somerville Police responded to Washington St for a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated she was sitting on a bench and was approached by two males who stated they were going to trade her necklace for another necklace. The males took the victims necklace off and gave her the other one.  
  
Residential Breaking & Entering 
26054087: On 8/5/26 at approximately 7:41 AM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Francesca Ave for a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated the house is under construction and electrical wire was stolen.  
 
Residential Breaking & Entering 
26054896: On 8/7/26 at approximately 7:12 PM, Somerville Police responded to a residence on Central St for a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he received an alert that someone was at his door. He then went home and observed his front door open. Nothing was reported missing.
